Hearts (and Wings) for Haiti

Our hand.made master jewelry-maker Elise Thomas approached us with a fabulous idea: buy one of her lampwork hearts or angel wings between now and Valentine’s Day, and she will donate all of her percentage to the Haitian relief. The Orange Door will follow suit and donate all of our percentage, as well, so:

100% of the purchase price for an Elise Thomas heart or angel wing will go to Haitian relief efforts.

Give a gift of fabulous, one-of-a-kind jewelry, and also give a gift of help to the helpless in Haiti. On February 15th, we will write a check to the American Red Cross Global Haiti Relief Fund for every cent collected by selling a heart or angel wing.

Check out the new Miche Bag “Hope” covers that just arrived in our store today. The Hope Shell is available in both the Classic Bag and the Big Bag. $5 from the sale of every cover will directly benefit cancer research at the Huntsman Cancer Center at The University of Utah.

Miche Designer Jennie Platt used quotes from cancer survivors in the dramatic design of her bag. Each bag comes with one of ten cards containing the quote of the survivor used in the words on the bag.
